The prayer times shown on this site are calculated astronomically and are intended as an accurate supporting reference — not a substitute for the actual Adhan announced by local mosques, especially for special occasions and prayers.
Every prayer time on this site is calculated using standard astronomical formulas based on the sun's actual position relative to Riyadh's geographic coordinates, via Aladhan API data. These calculations are scientifically precise, but remain the output of a mathematical model, not direct daily observation of each individual mosque.
Some mosques in Riyadh may apply small manual time margins (usually one to a few minutes) before Fajr, after Maghrib, or at the start of the khutbah, at each mosque administration's own discretion. This is a normal, well-known practice and does not indicate an error in this site's calculations or in the mosque's own timing.
We strongly recommend verifying the actual time announced by your local mosque directly, especially for important occasions such as Friday prayer, the two Eid prayers, Taraweeh during Ramadan, and any other time-sensitive religious occasion — rather than relying entirely on any website, including this one.
