The site is built and maintained by a small team interested in technology and trustworthy Islamic content, who regularly review the data and content to keep it accurate and current.

Why This Website Exists

We noticed that many general prayer-time websites show broad, one-size-fits-all data that doesn't always reflect Riyadh's specific geographic position or the official calculation method used in Saudi Arabia (Umm al-Qura). That's why we built a platform dedicated entirely to Riyadh — combining astronomical accuracy, trustworthy educational content, and a simple design that's easy to use at any age.

This site relies on it directly to fetch and automatically update Riyadh's daily and monthly prayer times.
• Riyadh's Official Geographic Coordinates — Riyadh's reference latitude and longitude coordinates are used in every astronomical calculation to ensure the times are accurate specifically for the city's location.
• Trusted Fiqh and Hadith References — The educational content and fiqh rulings referenced across the site (such as Friday prayer and the Hijri calendar) are based on recognized Islamic sources such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawud, and the Qur'an, always citing the hadith number and source.

Accuracy & Transparency

Every prayer time shown on this site is calculated astronomically using precise scientific formulas based on the sun's actual position relative to Riyadh's geographic coordinates — never manual or fixed estimates.

We are fully transparent about the source of every piece of information we display. Any data drawn from external sources (such as approximate Friday prayer times for specific mosques) is clearly labeled with its source and limitations, and we never present information as official unless it genuinely is.

Prayer Time Calculation Method

This site defaults to the "Umm al-Qura University" method for calculating prayer times, the official method used in Saudi Arabia, while letting you choose a different calculation method or juristic school (Shafi'i or Hanafi) for Asr from the homepage settings.
